Planning for July in my Happy Planner - With Scrapping Clearly!

Planners have been the in-thing in the papercrafting industry for some time - but my love affair with planners is just starting. I've always had a working diary filled with lists and my daily activities but I've never tried the full-on embellishment of them. Part of the reason is that there was never enough space on the pages, and also as it was a working diary it was never neat.

When I saw the fabulous MAMBI Happy Planner, Classic, The Best is Yet to Come   in the  Scrapping Clearly Store I thought I would give it a go. I had heard a lot about these planners and loved the vertical weekly layout. This planner is also an 18 month planner that started in July - perfect!! I decided to use the fun and bright Fancy Pants Designs "Joy Parade" collection and Kelly Purkey stamps to embellish the pages.

I love that many of the titles on the pages appear to be a silver colour but when viewed from different angles a rainbow of colours appears!
The first pages for each month include a section to record monthly goals, important dates, and a "currently' list - I love these prompts!!
Then there is a 2 page calendar for the month. I've decided to include a photo from each day here. I printed each photo at 3.7cm wide x 3.2cm tall.
Next is the fun planner pages!! I printed a sheet of photos to use. I organise and resize my photos in MS Word then print out on an A4 sheet of paper using an EPSON XP-600 and Ilford photo paper. Each photo used on the weekly spread is 3.7cm wide x 6cm tall.

I start my pages by writing daily activities on one of the 3 squares for the day. I then add photos, then decorative papers. I had some painty papers leftover from testing the amazing Distress Oxides, so I added some offcuts of them to the pages as well.
Next I add some patterned paper (from the Joy Parade 6x6 paper pad), Ephemera and puffy stickers. Lastly I added some stamps - these Kelly Purkey ones are so cute!!
Here is my first completed weekly spread (26 June - 2 July).
Here are some close-ups. I've tried to keep my pages as flat as possible. Puffy stickers are as bulky as I will go.

Our Little Girl - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page made using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard and the Paper House "Hello Baby" Girl collection. I taught this at a recent class at Seriously Scrapbooking.

The photo is of me as a baby - wasn't I cute lol :)
I started by creating a background on white cardstock using Distress Oxides. Then I layered this on some of the super cute paper from Paper House.
I painted all of the chipboard gold - using a single colour helps to unify the page.
Rectangles of different papers were used under my photo - this is a great way to use up leftover scraps of papers. Lastly I added some cute puffy sticker embellishments across the page.

A Story To Tell - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page made using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

The photos were last winter just after a hailstorm - we were surrounded by a blanket of ice.
I've used papers, washi and a tag from the Heidi Swapp Magnolia collection as the basis for my page and decided to leave all of the chipboard raw which coordinated well with the papers.
I've added some embellishment clusters of chipboard, flowers and flair around my photo.
I've added a geotag embellishment from Charms Creations - I love how rustic and  quirky these embellishments are.
Lastly I added splatters of black and gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine across my page - I love that there are splatters on some of the embellishments!

Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes

Nats Hand Drawn leaves : Code IDD0044
Sheet of 7 leaves : code IDFL0018
Every picture has a story to tell : code IDP0045

Loolabelles love arrows : Code IDD0030
Loolabelles chevrons #2: Code IDDL0022

Perfect Day - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of products from the  Fancy Pants Designs "Joy Parade" collection available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store.

I love the fun bright colours of this collection and teamed it with a photo of Jessica at the beach wearing her lovely bright rashie!
I started with a sheet of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 11"x11". I splattered Heidi Swapp Teal ColorShine across the page and set aside to dry.

Once dry I matted this with a 12x12 sheet of Fancy Pants Designs "Joy parade" Wrap it in color paper. I then added a strip of paper from the Joy Parade 6x6 paper pad to the top and bottom of the page.
I added more paper from the 6x6 paper pad underneath my photo, as well as elements from the Ephemera pack and lastly puffy stickers.
Here are some close-ups of the finished page.
